Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves (Mark 12:30-31). At CityLine, we are committed to growing in our love for God and living that love out by serving and blessing those around us. Our mission is to deepen our faith, make disciples, and extend God’s love to everyone. 

As our church continues to grow, we’ve maximized every space in our building for ministry seven days a week. For years, we’ve been praying about expanding, but with limited building options in our area, we remain committed to seeking God’s guidance and provision for a space that will enable us to broaden our reach and impact.  

When we launched the Momentum Campaign, a key focus was investing in the next generation. Our vision is to create more space for children and students to worship, learn, and grow. With our building expansion, we plan to dedicate gym and student ministry spaces to support their spiritual development.  

As we pursue our mission to make disciples, we are committed to training the next generation of pastoral leaders. Through our pastoral residency program, residents will receive hands-on training from our pastors, bridging the gap between seminary education and real-world ministry. Each resident will be fully supported with a full-time salary and benefits, immersing them in church life as they grow into faithful shepherds. Our church family will play a vital role in shaping their competencies, spiritual practices, and understanding of the pastoral calling. 

CityLine is committed to church planting and global missions. We partner with missionaries and organizations to advance the gospel. Our vision is to have planted four churches by 2030, building on the foundation of our first church plant. With three more churches to go, we are trusting God to expand His kingdom through CityLine.

For years, we have aspired to be a trusted resource for care in the Village of Niles and beyond, building a church that reaches far beyond its walls. Through ministries like our Food Pantry, Gospel Justice Center, CAP Money Course, Migrant Care (CityLine Español), and Clothes Closet, we have served both our church family and the community. Now, with our newly formed nonprofit, we are positioned to expand this work, creating even more opportunities to serve those in need while sharing the hope of Jesus. 

We hope to pay off our remaining $3.5 million mortgage by 2035. To achieve that goal, we plan to accelerate our mortgage reduction by including extra principal payments in our annual budget. Over the last 4 years, we have reduced our mortgage balance by about $1.1 Million. 

We believe in the power of prayer and invite you to join us in seeking God as we step into this new season.
